Thanks to the individual play and learning stations, our leisure park also offers an educational aspect and strengthens the sense of community and cohesion in your class.
School classes are advised to travel by train, as Waldkirch railway station is approx. 10 minutes' walk from the Stadtrainsee site. The approx. 1,200 metre long sensory trail begins at the Stadtrainsee site, with its numerous interactive experience stations, where nature and landscape can be experienced with all the senses in a fascinating and impressive way. After a 45-minute walk, you reach the treetop walk.
In addition to the group experiences and forest tours, we have developed a knowledge game especially for school classes and youth groups.
With the tasks, available here as PDF, they go on an exciting journey through the forests, past the numerous experience stations of the sensory trail up to the treetop trail. The answers to the tasks can be discovered by the children and young people themselves at the interactive experience stations, and contribute to making the short hike up to the treetop path an entertaining pleasure. The children and young people are thus taught knowledge in a playful way.
